Don’t be Apologetic about Diwali - Enjoy it

Don’t be Apologetic about Diwali - Enjoy it

In my city of Bengaluru alone - 4 lakhs Animals are Killed on Eid which includes 10000 Large animals like Cattle and Camels
It generates 300 tonnes of animal waste which is just buried in pits near Kogilu on the city outskirts
For 14 lakh Muslims in Bengaluru - 4 lakh Animals killed
Even if one Animal weighs 10 kg then can an average person eat 3 kg meat on single day ?
And mind you this includes kids and infants also
So most of the meat goes waste though people might claim we give it to poor

If you conflate this number to whole of India then imagine the number of Animals killed on the single day ?
For 200 millon it must be at least 20 millon Animals
And 200 millon kgs of Meat and staggering 8 billon kgs of Green House gases or Carbon dioxide and we are not even calculating the lakhs of tonnes of bio waste generated

And now conflate this number to the whole world
It is 200 millon Animals 80 billon kgs of CO2

Now let us come to ThanksGiving in USA - 45 million Turkeys are killed

Christmas in US - 25 million Turkeys are killed

In US 30 million trees are chopped off every year to make Christmas Tree
Which is huge pollution
And 50 million artificial trees are used which is made of plastic and is even more polluting
On Independence Day July 4th USA uses 1 billion Worth of fire crackers which is 5 times more than what India uses in an whole year
Chinese use more times more firecrackers on Chinese New Year alone that what US does on July 4
World wide on New year billions Worth Fire crackers are used
Hindu festivals are the only Eco Friendly festivals on Earth
As most of Hindus eat only Vegetarian food on festivals
Other wise every other religion the meat is the most important item on a festival or any celebration

But when it comes to narrative it is only hindu festivals which are being maligned as polluting
Holi - Water Pollution so Waterless Holi
Ganesh - Sea or River Pollution So Green Ganesh
Dussehra - Riots/ sexual abuse so don’t go dandia or no Durga Idol immersion
Diwali - Air Pollution so no fire crackers
Have you seen any one raising topic of Pollution on Christmas New year or Eid ?
Has anyone campaigned for Veg Xmas or Green New Year or No killing on Eid ?
So don’t let breaking India forces take the fun out of Diwali
Let the festivals of lights
Hindu festivals are green by nature as Hindus worship nature and all tHe festivals are born out of nature worship
PS - The most comprehensive report on Delhi Pollution by IIT Kharagpur has not included Fire crackers in the report
Road Dust, Concrete batching, Vehicles, Coal tandoors, Crop burning, industries are responsible for Delhi air pollution .

Have A blasting Diwali🎇🎇🎇

Be Proud of Your Religion

*Don’t become a religious bigot while celebrating Diwali.*
It is a festival of light, a Deepotsav! This festival is independently celebrated and it is not fallout of festivals of other religions. We are changing as per the need of time. Let us set that example before others.

Beware from some Hindu Fanatics who spit venom and spread false information and create hatred against other Religions and divide society.  No society or human being is perfect.  If we point out finger at others, other four fingers are pointed out towards us. We all are Indian and let us unite as Indians.

And mind well, the said post also states that people of other religions also burns firecrackers. But none from other religions has got affected/offended by SC decision on firecrackers, they do not vehemently support firecrackers as Some Hindu elements are doing now!

And here are few basic questions before analyzing the information given in that post:

a) SC is our constitutional pillar of democracy.  After through study, they have come to a conclusion and directed us to burn firecrackers during 8 to 10 pm only.  Are we not supposed to respect our own supreme court? We talk a lot about patriotism. Is it patriotism to disrespect our own SC? If we do not agree with that based on facts, let us go and file revision Petition based on factual data and information.
b) Which Hindu scripture imposes bursting firecrackers on Hindu followers? (Hindus celebrate Diwali for thousands of years whereas discovery of firecrackers is recent!) Despite that, SC has allowed bursting firecrackers between 8 to 10 pm (That too, Green Firecrackers!) looking at public sentiments.  Is our firecracker love bigger than our Country’s environment, Country’s system, people and Country itself?
c) Has Hindus set their Standards of celebrating Festivals based on Islamic or Christian Festivals? Or they have their own historic independent reasons?
d) Instead of becoming a pioneer, (By bringing in Reforms) guiding force for other religions (1500-2000 year old new religions), does Hinduism (about 6000 year old) want to become a follower of new religions?  (By quoting wrong rituals of other religions to justify our own wrong rituals?)
e) Does that mean that ‘Hindu’ want to keep Dirty its own house because house of Islam and Christianity etc. is Dirty?
f) Is it not foolish to say why nobody campaigns veg Christmas ….. etc? Firecrackers are not eaten like meat? And, who stopped the post writer from doing that? Basically, why he should worry about cleanliness of that other religion? Their own people will take care of it.  We have to take our own care.
g) If other newer religions say same thing (you clean your house first!) to this ancient religion, what is the reply?
h) I do not support killing animals in the name of gods and sacrifice. But taking shelter of that for burning firecrackers is illogical. Further, does killing of animals create deafening noise like firecrackers? Does it release smoke and poisonous, harmful gases like firecrackers release? Does it cause accidental fires? Does it causesdisturbance to Pregnant women, Babies, Senior Citizens, Patients? Does it involve child labour?
i) In other Countries the firecracker show is a social gathering event i.e. they jointly organize a show and people go to see it.  Does that happen in India? Here, everybody, rich and poor bursts firecrackers.
j) Other countries take due care of pollution.  Do we really bother about that?
k) What legacy we are leaving for our own future generations? More and more polluted atmosphere? Just to cool our own ego and our own (yes our own, because there is nothing religious in firecrackers!) enjoyment? Are we so mean-minded, narrow minded?  Will our future generations excuse us for that?

As regards Eid, the information given in that post is false and imaginary.
Muslim population in Bengaluru is less than 11 lakh and NOT 14 lakh. Here is the link.
https://www.census2011.co.in/census/city/448-bangalore.html

Further, assuming the ‘popular’ belief that Muslims have 5 to 10 children in each family, let us say that their family contains 8 people (Husband, Wife and 6 kids on average basis).  So, the total number of families will be ‘11 lakh divided by 8 =1.38 lakh’ families.  *Then, how 1.38 lakh families can sacrifice 4 lakh cattles and Camels?*  And what about poor families (majority of muslim families are poor and they can not afford sacrificing cattle!)?

It is said that 4 lakh animals are killed on Eid. What is the source of this information? On the contrary the Official figure of total animals in Bengaluru DISTRICT (yes District!) is 3.91 lakh including 1.24 lakh dogs. (http://censusindia.gov.in/2011census/dchb/2918_PART_A_DCHB_BANGALORE.pdf)
Then from where these so called 4 lakh animals came? From where the camel came in Bengaluru??? All fake information and Data. So no time to be wasted in analyzing the American (Christian), Chinese data which is also apparently sounds baseless and imaginary.  Such, so called Hindus have lost their credibility due to repeated release of false information and data.

And don’t take shelter of that IIT report thing.  Read this latest news:
(https://www.hindustantimes.com/delhi-news/after-locals-go-firecracker-crazy-on-diwali-delhi-becomes-world-s-most-polluted-city-report/story-GrhKIqahIBuKh4vjf996zH.html)

Don’t hit axe on own foot!

Enjoy festival of lights to remove darkness of mind.  Enjoy nice food, sweets, new clothes, gifts, visits to relatives, making Kila, burning small lamps. Forget what other religions do. Let your own religion set an example before the world of celebrating the ideal festival which is based on enjoyment, Religious piousness, humanity and which cares for its country and citizens.

Be proud to be a saner Hindu, good Indian Citizen! Don’t be a shame on India as well as on Hinduism by following bigotry!
